Spotlight / Review - Uppercase Box [April 2015]

Hey everyone, today I'm going to be doing something different because I'm doing a review / spotlight on a monthly subscription box instead of a book (though books are involved). This is my fist time using a monthly subscription that involved books. I actually found Uppercase Box out through Instagram, I saw the goodies, and decided to just try it! (spontaneous is my middle name XP) And got my first box for April.

Uppercase Box is a monthly Young Adult Monthly subscription box that is comprised of one ya book and a bookish item. There are two plans; at $23 USD a month, Plan 1 includes a 1 ya book and 1 bookish item, plus access to exclusive author content. At $29 USD a month, Plan 2 has 1 ya book picked based on Your Tastes and 1 bookish item. Book include already include shipping in there prices. For myself I decided to go with Plan 1 :)

I loved that it came through USPS, and not actually in a "box" because they normally don't leave them in my mailbox and then I have to go get it at the post office. Loved that everything came inside a cute canvas bag with a pretty red ribbon. That way I can store everything back up just as easy too :)

Glad they actually took the time and wrote me a little note welcoming me into the Uppercase family. The postcard / frame matched the colors on the book cover and the story :) Already using the bookish magnets on my fridge and added the "I <3 Max Watson" button to my school bag.

The book selection was the thing I was most worried about since you don't know what I was going to get but I am really glad it was The Start of You and Me by Emery Lord because I have been waiting for this book since I stumbled on it on goodreads. The book came with the author content posted all throughout the book and really makes it an interactive experience. Really loved that aspect was incorporated into the book.

Overall I loved Uppercase Box. They had the presentation right, the goodies were actually things I would use, and the book is currently good! Plus the book came signed! Something I forgot to check until I saw people post pics of the signed book (again on Instagram) XP So happy with the service and even though it might seem like a lot of money, it really is something a book lover should try at least once. Overall rating of...5 STARS!!!!

THAT'S IT! HEARD OF UPPERCASE BOX? HEARD OF THE START OF YOU AND ME? READ IT? LIKED THE GOODIES? LEAVE ME A COMMENT!
