LOL, Her Dark Curiosity does have a beautiful cover :D I agree the cover isn't what's important but the synopsis does but definitely wouldn't complain with a book with a great premise and cover ;) thanks for stopping by Rain, much <3!!
DeleteThere's a ton I'd like and its so hard to pick one, I don't relay on covers the synopsis maters more to me but a catchy cover will decide me to pick it up and read the book. - Genevieve S.
ReplyDelete* I meant back not book lol - Genevieve S.
ReplyDeleteI'd choose Split Second because I adored Pivot Point. I love covers as physical books are great for displaying. Though I do try to see the book apart from the cover. I'm from Australia.
ReplyDeleteYou're going to make me choose? That is hard. I am really looking forward to Split Second. I loved Pivot Point and am a huge fan of Kasie West. I am from the US of A. I would like to think I am one of those people who say "Don't judge a book by it's cover" but I totally do. If it has a beautiful cover I will want to read it. First impressions are pretty important. Thank you for the amazing giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI'd probably pick Into the Still Blue. I'm form the US, and yeah, a cover definitely counts. I mean, if a book has a nice cover, I assume the publishing team has put a lot of effort into it, so it's probably a bit better.
ReplyDeleteBrynna
I am from the US! I love Evertrue!! I try not to judge a book by it's cover, but sometimes I do. ;)
ReplyDelete-Cali W.
Okay...I totally can't choose right now...just looking at them makes me so indecisive...heheh I'm from Australia...I think book cover are pretty important I mean we get our first impression of things by their appearance and an interesting or beautiful cover is going to pique our curiosity and make us wonder if its worth reading...Thanks for the giveaway!

Yes, i always look at cover if that book was new author for me.
I would die for Into the Still Blue, I usually search on Goodreads for and new books I might want to read, the cover counts, but I like to read the first page or paragraph to get an idea of the writing style.
ReplyDeleteCruel Beauty sounds like a good read! and I love the cover! Its so simple but its really pretty!
ReplyDeleteSometimes I do buy books if the cover looks really beautiful, than I just can't resist. But in some books cover doesn't really matter to me if the book itself is really good(:

ReplyDeleteI would choose Cruel Beauty. I'm from the UK and covers are really important but they are not everything.
ReplyDeleteI would definitely choose The Promise of Amazing. The cover just looks so sweet and adorable. And I would like to say that covers don't mean everything to me but they do. First, I look at the cover and if it isn't that good then I look at the title and if that is intriguing then I'll pick it up and read the description. But it's usually the cover that always makes me want to pick up the books and read the description.
ReplyDeleteI happen to be from the US. Thanks for the giveaway!

ReplyDeleteOh and I'd love to win Into the Still Blue
Thanks for the giveaway!
I'm from India. I would choose Into the Still Blue. For me, covers are important for choosing because you get an idea of the genre. I do ofcourse, read the book blurb too but the cover usually decides for me.
ReplyDeleteI;m from the US and yeah the cover is what catches my attention first. I would probably choose Evertrue.
ReplyDeleteI would love to win Cruel Beauty or Her Dark Curiosity because those covers are fantastic! So yes, the covers definitely count for something! Or, I suppose, Into the Still Blue, though that cover isn't as appealing to me.
ReplyDeleteHi from Canada! :)
I'm not really sure which book I would pick, but maybe faking normal? Or all that glows. I am really not sure.
ReplyDeleteI'm from Czech Republic. And yes, I do look at covers a lot, but I usually don't pick what to read by them. :) But there is always a bigger possibility, that I will pick good sounding book with a great cover over good sounding book with an ugly cover. :)

I'm Imel from Indonesia
ReplyDeleteI would to win the promise of amazing because I like book cover and I'm readers who judge book from cover
I have no idea which book that I would choose, so I will answer the other 2 questions. 1st- I am from South Carolina, in the US. And, I do look at the cover of books. They used to have a lot of bearing on if I picked a book up or not. But I made the decision to stop letting bad covers decide for me, and I have read some seriously great books because of that decision. Still, I love a pretty or creepy or just plain fantastic cover!
ReplyDeleteI'm reading Pivot Point and I'm loving it, so I'd like to win Split Second, I guess! :P
ReplyDeleteI don't choose a book for its cover, but when I'm at the book shop a good looking cover is what attracts me and makes me choose to read the synopsis and discover what a novel is about :)
Well... I also follow a lots of book blogs that makes me add to my wishlist beautiful books with very ugly covers xD

ReplyDeleteI'd choose Avalon or Split Seconds. I'm from Trinidad. I love covers with beautiful, sleek typography, if there are different versions to a book and I'm absolutely in love with that particular cover, even if it costs more I'll want to buy it. Thank you for the giveaway. :) Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteEither Into the Still Blue or Split Second. I'm from the US (Arizona, specifically). And definitely! I'm an admitted cover snob and, unless a book is heavily recommended to me and has great reviews, I won't pick it up if its cover isn't appealing to me.
ReplyDeleteI'd probably pick Into the Still Blue. I'm from Europe, and unfortunately I can't adhere to "Don't judge a book by its cover". :-)
ReplyDeleteI would choose Into the Still Blue! I'm from Europe and I often decide which book to buy because of the cover!
ReplyDeleteI would either want to win Cruel beauty or All that glows. I can't decide between the two. I'm from the U.s. Most of the time when I buy a book the cover catches my attention. If it doesn't capture my attention i don't get it.
ReplyDeleteI'd love All That Glows although I've added most of the choices to my TBR list. I don't buy books based on the cover but a beautiful cover will get me to pick up the book to read the blurb. Oh, I'm from the US. Thanks for the giveaway!

ReplyDeleteI would love to win Uninvited. I am from the USA, Maryland to be specific. Covers do play a large roll in the books I pick to read. I am definitely a visual person. ReplyDeleteI would definitely pick Split Second!! I loved Pivot Point, it was actually one of my favorites so far of 2013 so I cannot wait to read the sequel! The cover absolutely does matter (unfortunatly)... I just like the prettiness :P I am from Canada :) Thanks for the awesome giveaway!!

ReplyDeleteMichelle Tucker
Into The Still Blue.
ReplyDeleteWe're from Barcelona, Spain.
And the cover draws a lot of attention to the reader, so we think that its a major factor while deciding to read/buy a book.
I would LOVE Infinite! I'm in Canada and I would totally be lying if I said covers don't count. I know that it shouldn't because it is what is in the inside but it's the pretty outsides that catch my attention <3
ReplyDeleteI would pick into the still blue. And as much as it pains me to admit it, yes covers do affect my decision to read a book. O.O I mean, of course the description is first and foremost. but the covers help push it over the edge.
ReplyDeleteI would choose Her Dark Curiosity. From the USA. Usually the covers draw me in to look more closely at a book, but the most important factor is the description.
ReplyDeleteI want to read Cruel Beauty. I'm in the US. Sometimes I pick a book up just for the cover, but it has to sound like a good read from the blurb before I purchase it.
