Okay, you know I love me some hot reads and for what the Winemaker's Dinner: Appetizer's promised, it was GOOD! Since the first time I saw the cover to this book i was fascinated. I wanted to know the whole story and after reading the synopsis i wanted to REALLY see what it was about. I had read another book this year with the same kinda concept of a person falling from the sky (not angel) but a star. REVIEW: Jessica by Laura DeLuca [Plus SPECIAL OFFER!]
Wilbur was used to going to his college formals alone. He thought the Halloween Ball would be no different. He’s amazed when a beautiful girl in a Victorian costume displays an interest in him and even more amazed to find himself alone with her on one of the campus nature trails. [Rocking] ARC Review: Rockoholic by C.J. Skuse
She's got it bad, and he ain't good -- he's in her garage? "I'm your biggest fan, I'll follow you until you love me..." Gonna have to face it: Jody's addicted to Jackson Gatlin, frontman of The Regulators, and after her best bud Mac scores tickets, she's front and center at his sold-out concert. But when she gets mashed in the moshpit and bodysurfs backstage, she's got more than a mild concussion to deal with. By the next morning, the strung-out rock star is coming down in her garage. First off, can I say that this cover is SO GORGEOUS! Really the flower and the spotlight work great as eye catchers. Secondly I haven't read Corinne's first book, If i lie, but after reading this book I WILL HAVE TO!! Believe me this book was AMAZING! The only thing that bothered me was that the ARC said it came out DECEMBER 2013...@_@ When It clearly comes out this year on the 27th, my birthday! Hmmm...i don't know how I feel about this book. It's definitely interesting. The cover is GORGEOUS!! I went into this with a vague idea of it containing Valkyries. And i LOVE anything with NORSE MYTHOLOGY. SO this was a definite attraction. There was good and bad in it for me.My Thought's (Lisseth):
