My thoughts (Lisseth):

"This was an AMAZING, action-packed, twisted, mystery book; that ACTUALLY made me love reading Mysteries!

I really don't read any mystery books, i just don't find the appeal. BUT i saw this cover in my library & was like, "it's cool & creepy, I MUST READ IT!" I read the synopsis of course, and was a bit hesitant because it was a mystery book...BUT OMG i have NO regrets on picking this book up!

It's told from various points of views, which i always enjoy, and it gives you great insight to the events that led to the murder of Carly. There are so many secrets that Carly has hidden that when their some new revalation to her behavior you truely believe that everything was a lie. Plus their school is SO unique, academically wise, that i would LOVE to go to that school ;D

Their is a huge mystery and i love how carly's ex & cousin team up to find the real killer and the secrets Carly was trying to expose. Their were flashbacks to how Carly had been & then to who she had to become. It never let me down with the suspense, and mystery. Plus the way Carly was murdered, WHERE she was found, and how;made it really interesting and lured you into discovering the truth.

Carly left clues and each one twist & turns Neily and Audrey's suspicions. I LOVED Neily, he truly LOVED Carly.He also lives with a lot of guilt and we see that not everything that happened to him was his fault.Audrey was like all the popular new girls but after her cousins murder & her fathers imprisonment she turns dark and inquisitive.

Some crazy things do happen at the end. When everything is pieced together and the true murderer is revealed it is a SHOCK! I was literally just...staring...at..the...page. I could not read more.

I just couldn't, but of course I DID and that last chapter really closed the book perfectly. Neily & Audrey have finally let go of their pasts and each one changed their lives for the better, YET they still remember the girl who was curious, sweet, and smart that connected them in life.

Overall I LOVED it! and this comes from someone who DISLIKES mystery books. I would recommend this book to EVERYONE!!! It was AMAZING. Plus i can't say all the awesome things because it would ruin it, So JUST READ IT,like NOW!! Anna Jarzab has become one of my favorite authors and this debut was beautifully captivating; I can NOT wait to see her next books! 5/5 Golden Feathers!
