May has come and gone so fast! It's June and for the first time I am putting some control and effort into my TBR pile, which never seems to shrink. I'm trying to finish off some books that were so intense I couldn't finish. So here are the books I'm hoping to read this June. (linked to goodreads)

A1: I don't. Which is a problem because I can never find anything. Although I do organize somewhat by putting the favorites on the top shelf.
A2: The one book that is forever a favorite and not in my favorite is ALL UNQUIET THINGS by Anna Jarzab. I don't read mysteries but I gave this a go and never regretted it! It really captured me. I reviewed it on the blog back in 2012!!!! (Man, I'm old)
A3: The Thorn and The Sinking Stone by C.J. Dushinski was the last 5 star book I read recently.
A4: The book I'm excited to read in the read-a-thon has to be Walk On Earth A Stranger by Rae Carson!
A5: UGLIES!!!!! The Uglies series by Scott Westerfeld is my first and most favorite book series! I can never recommend it enough.

Hi guys!! *IT'S FINALLY MAY!!* Now you may be wondering why Lay is fist-pumping *well, I don't know either* BUT I now why i am. I just heard there was a summer reading program for bloggers AND I AM SO JOINING!
Normally I don't join read-a-thons or challenges, not because i don't want to but because I don't have much free time and tend to forget about them, pretty much as soon as I sign up XP But I remember during summer vacation every year i got a "summer reading packet" that I HAD TO DO for school, and even though it forced me to read, I LOVED IT and it made me into the bookish nerd i am today.
But recently i haven't been reading as much, mostly because no ones shouting in my ear to read. Believe I need that type of motivation and my book stalks aren't getting any thinner. So a summer reading type program, COUNT ME IN!
I pledge to read at least 10 books but it might end up being more, because when i get into a book reading frenzy *believe me, I GETS SERIOUS* I didn't read 200+ books in one summer to not own up to my blog name :P Now the lovely host is none other than Katie from KATIE'S BOOK BLOG, so if your a blogger and want to sign up click the button above.
what does this mean to my blog readers? I means i might be out and about reading instead of on here making posts. But honestly just making Waiting On Wednesdays or Stacking the shelves makes this a boring blog *yeah i said it* so i'll try to read more books and make more reviews so it's not too dreary and bare. Hey guys! You read it right I HAVE JOINED A READ-A-LONG!! This is my first one and it's for SWEET EVIL! I won a signed book from Wendy & i felt so bad i haven't had the chance to read it yet, so this proved to be the chance to do it! ^_^
This week on the Read-A-long, we had to read chapters 1-9 and the Theme for this week was
And every time I think or road trip, i think of the movie COLLEGE ROAD TRIP, so I'm gonna use that to reference.ROAD TRIP!!

First of all, the Innocents has an awesome and different cover than what I see in YA books, & I LOVE IT! From the summary on goodreads I could NOT tell what this book would be about and was hesitant to read it BUT the ARC copy has a WHOLE page of the summary, which explains the book really good. SO I was expecting a breathless read ;DMy Thought's (Lisseth):

This was my first mermaid book, just to see if i would like mermaid stories. So i was pleasantly surprised that I DO! Seaweed is not what it appears to be. PLUS that cover is GORGEOUS! ^__^My Thought's (Lisseth):

I have read both Halo and Hades. I LOVED Halo and was felt Hades was okay. SO when I started this book I wasn't sure how I felt about the series. It has it's ups and down's BUT i really did LOVE Heaven. In my opinion it was a GREAT way to end this series.My Thought's (Lisseth):

It was an interesting read, fast & enjoyable read! I was not sure what to expect going into this book BUT i was not disappointed at what I found. It was filled with love, danger, regret & of COURSE, DEATH. Always their to ruin the mood.My Thought's (Lisseth):

It was an interesting read, I haven't read many books on this topic & this was one I really liked because it was on a real & important topic. Plus it gives you insight into the anorexic mind.My Thought's (Karina):

This book keeps you guessing with every page. Lloan is a character you instantly root for. The author does an excellent job in making her have a few human faults, although Lloan is most definitely not human. I loved that she had a not so human friend too. Maybe in the next book we’ll follow May’s path a little bit.My Thought's (Karina):
