Alex Kosmitoras's life has never been easy. The only other student who will talk to him is the school bully, his parents are dead broke and insanely overprotective, and... oh yeah, he's blind. Just when he thinks he'll never have a shot at a normal life, an enticing new girl comes to their small Midwest town all the way from India. Simmi is smart, nice, and actually wants to be friends with Alex. Plus she smells like an Almond Joy bar. Sophomore year might not be so bad after all. Alex is in store for another new arrival—an unexpected and often embarrassing ability to "see" the future. Try as he may, Alex is unable to ignore his visions, especially when they suggest Simmi is in mortal danger. With the help of the mysterious psychic next door and friends who come bearing gifts of their own, Alex embarks on his journey to change the future.

She's like a proton and my thoughts an electron; naturally, the two would come together. Can't be avoided. Now the series. *Just click the images to read the Goodreads summaries* Also I LOVE these cover's!!

well i loved your review and both books sound intriguing enough for me to want to read!
ReplyDeleteI would very much like to read about a book where the protagonist is blind. It's interesting to see how he will handle his skills and basically how he faces each day. :)
ReplyDeleteFarsighted sounds like a great book. It's completely unique to me since Alex is blind (but as I learned from your review he does have a second sight). I'm excited to read this one!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the awesome review, Lisseth. I love how much of your personality shone through as you were talking about Farsighted. It almost felt like we were sitting together, having a nice chat about it :-D
