My Review:

I have NO IDEA why I hadn't read this book sooner, because honestly this book rocked! I have never read a YA book where the main MC is blind, so getting into Alex's head was fascinating. I also realized that a blind guy with a cane can be mad sexy ;)

The story is quite interesting; it's filled with mystery and discovery with a bit of love thrown in. There was a paranormal element to the story, Alex is blind (duh) BUT he can see...O_O yeah. He has a "second sight" that let's him see the future and that aspect always took me by surprise because one minute you're reading that he's sitting down and someone calls him a name and then...He realize's it hasn't happened and he gets embarrassed. Which makes you go soft for him but at the same time you feel just as confused as him. But still pretty cool that he has a second sight.

Alex makes a friend with the new student, Simmi who I really liked! She was friendly but I liked that she could see past Alex's disability. I didn't like his father. He was just giving off waves of "I loath you"; yeah your son is blind but that doesn't justify your actions. I liked Alex's mom and Miss Teak (hehe, perfect name :D). She helps Alex with his sight and tells him of his journey; which subsequently includes him saving Simmi.

So...does he save her? Can he? Read the book but all I can say is that I REALLY loved this story. It was unique, intriguing, and full of discoveries. Also helped that Alex was likable and funny! :D

5/5 STARS! Pretty GREAT! It blew me away at times and kept me engaged! :D
