HARDCOVER vs. PAPERBACK

MY CHOICE: I have to go with the paperback. I like the Hardcover with it's color and it fits the book but personally I like the feel of the paperback. Mostly because it reminds me of the cover for Libba Brays "A GREAT AND TERRIBLE BEAUTY". Which I think is around the same time period and the paperback seems to capture more of the mystery of the book.

HARDCOVER vs. PAPERBACK

MY CHOICE: I LOVED the original HARDCOVER version of the cover. It was unique and It really peaked my interest. PLUS it was dark & mysterious, which I quite liked :) I like the New Paperback version too but I feel like i've seen it. Oh yeah, it kinda looks like the cover for THE SUMMONING.

I get that they wanted to make it look more fantasy-ish and that's okay but I would have kept that AWESOME tattoo of the dragon-bird thing somewhere on the new cover, maybe inside the stone? idk. The color scheme from dark to light, was a REALLY BIG change and gave the book a different feel too. Anyways, I like them both BUT i'm going to stay LOVING the original.
